Individual annual dues were $2 and included a $1 YMCA membership; the latter portion entitled the club to use a meeting room. Family memberships were $4. By the end of May there were 60 paid adult members. From the start, provisions were made for a Junior Club; dues for the Juniors were 50¢ per year, payable 5¢ a month. One of our active members attended one of the early Junior meetings.

In the following year meetings were moved onto the Drake University campus; meetings now began at 7:30 p.m. Occasionally meetings are held in other locations but, due to the generosity and good will of the university, the Drake campus has been our home since May, 1947.

There were 19 Junior members in February, 1949; the goal for the June meeting was 25 boys and girls. Two of our active members were listed as Junior members in January 1951.
